GetToilet Terms of Service

Agreement

By using the GetToilet app or website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Who may use it

You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for anything done through your account, so keep your sign-in details to yourself.

Your content

You keep ownership of the reviews, ratings and photographs you post. By posting them you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, store and distribute them as part of the service, including on our public website. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies already made in backups or by people who saw it while it was up.

You confirm that what you post is yours to post, and that your photographs do not show people who have not agreed to appear.

What you may not do

Post a review of a toilet you have not visited, or a rating you do not believe.

Post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, obscene, or targeted at another person.

Photograph other people in a toilet. This is the one rule we will not discuss: do not do it.

Post someone else's personal information, impersonate anyone, or pretend to represent a business you have nothing to do with.

Add fictional toilets, submit deliberately wrong locations, or otherwise corrupt the map.

Use automated tools to scrape, flood or overload the service.

Moderation

Toilets submitted to the map are reviewed before they appear. Reviews are published immediately and moderated after the fact.

You can report any toilet or review that breaks these rules, and we will look at it. We may hide or delete content, and suspend or remove accounts, where we believe these terms have been broken. We try to be proportionate, and we will not always get it right.

The information here comes from strangers

Every rating, comment and photograph on GetToilet was written by another member of the public. We do not visit these places, and we do not verify what is said about them. Opening hours change, toilets close, and a review describes one person's visit on one day.

Treat it as a helpful guess, not a guarantee, and use your own judgement about where you go.

Availability

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, GetToilet is provided as-is and without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending it

You can stop using GetToilet at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may end your access if you break these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Changes

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.
